Beetroot is a super food! It is a deep-red colored root vegetable, packed with essential nutrients. While beetroot can be eaten raw, and is quite delicious, it is also cooked or pickled across cultures in the world. They are also called Red Beet, Table Beet or simply, Beet.

Store and Use
After procuring beets, wash them properly and leave them out to dry. Post this, beets can be stored in a refrigerator, preferably in perforated plastic bags. Beetroot can be eaten raw, with slight seasoning, added to salads, made into a juice, cooked and even pickled.
